Professor Daxing Zeng, the Honorary Dean of the Institute of Literary Geography at Guangzhou University, is the president of the Chinese Society for Literary Geography (CSLG), and Committee member of Cultural Geography Studies of the CSLG. Prof. Zeng first set foot in literary geography in 1987 and since then has gained recognition in this field for his achievements. He has persistently advocated for the establishment of a secondary independent discipline of Literary Geography Studies by presiding over the annual conferences of the Chinese Society for Literary Geography Studies. From 2011 to present, he has edited The Annuals of Literary Geography Studies and published over 160 papers and fifteen monographs, of which A Study of Literary Geography (2012), Distribution of Chinese Writers (2013), and Climate, Phenology and Literature: Follow the Litterateurs’ Path of Self-consciousness (2016), An Introduction to Literary Geography (2017), The Establishment of the Discipline of Literary Geography (2022) are most frequently cited by Chinese scholars of Literary Geography. An Introduction to Literary Geography is the first introductory work of Literary Geography Studies in China.  Translator of the book: Shan Li, Dean of International Education College of Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) and Associate Professor of Foreign Language and Cultures at CDUT, specializing in literary translation and comparative literature studies. She has published more than twenty papers, one monograph Translation Studies from the Perspective of Cultural Differences (2012), and the English translation of Chinese documentary literary works Notes of the Giant Panda Culture (2013) that has won the “Tianfu Translation Award” from the Translators Association of Sichuan, China. She has also co-edited six textbooks for translation teaching.
