Patricio A. Fernández received a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Economics from Harvard University. He is an associate professor of philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He held a Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship in ancient philosophy and in practical philosophy at the University of Munich. He has published in ethics, philosophy of action, ancient philosophy, and the economic analysis of law, in journals such as Ethics, Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy, American Philosophical Quarterly, Phronesis, and the Journal of Legal Studies. Alejandro Néstor García Martínez, Ph.D. in Philosophy, developed his research in Sociology, Social Theory, and Theory of Organizations. He is the author of numerous articles and several books, including Fashion and Social Distinction (2007), Natural Law: Historical, Systematic and Juridical Approaches (with J.M. Torralba – M.Silar, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Newcastle upon Tyne, 2008), the edition of the monographic issue of Anuario Filosófico on “Consumption and Identity” (2010), and Being Human in a Consumer Society (Ashgate, 2015). José M. Torralba is a professor of moral philosophy at the University of Navarra. He has been visiting scholar at the universities of Chicago and Leipzig. He is the co-editor of Natural Law: Historical, Systematic and Juridical Approaches (Cambridge Scholars Publishing), Theories of Action and Morality.
